Las Vegas Troop Makes History:

All 11 Scouts Earn Eagle in the Same Year

Troop 407 of Las Vegas has become the first in Nevada history — and only the second troop nationwide — to have all 11 members earn Eagle Scout in the same year, making them some of the youngest Scouts to ever accomplish the feat.

LAS VEGAS AREA COUNCIL (Scouting America), which recognized the troop and participated in the Scouts’ Court of Honor

The Scouts are members of VANGUARD SCOUTING and each earned the organization’s Duty to God Award, highlighting their commitment not only to leadership and service, but also to character and faith-based principles. Read more HERE.

In addition, the boys received a signed letter of recognition from the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES honoring the Scouts for earning their Eagle Scout.

Their story is one of teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and community — and it’s resonating far beyond Nevada.
